Janet Skinner has had a lifetime affiliation with horses. At the young age of nine she would clean out stables for a free ride. Janet lost her voice (1985) and couldn't hold a conversation for six years, it was her love of horses that helped her through. Janet Skinner is a published artist and has gone on to achieve a WORLD RECORD in art. Her artworks are in collections all over the world. A solo collection of her work is currently touring Regional Art Galleries of QLD.

Janet says that she is on the brink of producing her most exquisite equine art to date, she says that when you close your eyes you'll almost be able to smell them.
Janet is able to paint horses and ponies off all breeds, she can work from your photo or from life, or she will photograph them for you. Paintings, may also include your horse /horses in life like scenes, with your home, pets, people, whatever.

Janet has a large Gallery at Wights Mountain Road, Samford Valley, Qld, 25 mins from Brisbane City. The gallery houses a large collection of equine art, horses at work, at play, on the beach, and portrait work .
There are normally around 40 paintings on display, measuring from postcard size up to two and a half metres in width.
